This is a collection of pack images from the various software packs that were available for the Psion Organiser. If you are the author of any software included here and object to its presence, then contact me ( ).
How to install Pack images for consumers Pack images for industry, business, and retail Pack images related to hardware devices
To install one of these .opk files, you need a blank pack that is at least as large as the file. The pack has to be blank, so if you are using a datapak it would first need to be formatted in a datapak formatter, but a rampak or flash datapak will be formatted automatically when the file is installed. Of course you also need a Comms Link to transfer the file from a PC to the Psion. Lastly, you need the Organiser Developer's Make utility to perform the transfer. Unfortunately, this program uses 16-bit code so will not run on a 64-bit operating system. For instructions on how to get it to work on a modern PC, see my Using the Comms Link page.
You can also use these .opk files directly with the Jape Psion II Emulator. Many of them are already listed there as packs that you can slot into the emulator. If the pack you want is not listed, or if you have your own opk file that you want to load in the emulator, then create a pack in the emulator by clicking the "Select OPK File" button, selecting the opk file from your computer, naming the pack in the next text field, and clicking "Create". The pack is now available in the "Select Packs" drop-down list.
